RoosterMC has been fairly quiet over the past several months, but behind the scenes, a lot has changed.

We’ve been rebuilding, optimizing, and expanding the server with one goal in mind: make RoosterMC a better place to play Minecraft.

From major performance work to new RPG systems and entirely new ways to play, this is a great time to return to the Roost.

The classic RoosterMC survival experience. Gather resources, explore, build, trade, and progress at your own pace.

🌼 Peaceful
A relaxed survival world focused on building, farming, exploration, and enjoying Minecraft without hostile-mob pressure.

⚔️ Nightmare
Our full RPG experience powered by RoosterMobs. Discover custom ranged weapons and wands, battle elite enemies, develop mastery, research upgrades, and take on increasingly dangerous challenges.

🔥 Hell
A much harsher survival experience where resources, preparation, and good decisions matter. This world is designed for players looking for a serious survival challenge.

🧱 Creative
A dedicated place to build without survival restrictions. Experiment with designs, work on massive projects, or simply see what you can create.

🐔 Rooster Ranch — Coming Soon
A new private farming experience is under development. Build your own floating ranch, raise animals, complete objectives, earn Ranch Coins (RC), unlock upgrades, and expand your land over time.

RoosterMobs RPG

RoosterMobs has grown into one of the biggest custom systems on RoosterMC.

The Nightmare world combines Minecraft combat with RPG-style progression, including custom ranged weapons, wands, weapon schools, elite enemies, mastery, research, abilities, and progression systems.

It’s designed to give players something new to discover and work toward without losing the Minecraft experience underneath it.

Better Quality of Life

We’ve also continued improving the systems players use every day.

RoosterGrave keeps your items together when you die so recovering from a bad adventure doesn’t mean searching for scattered gear before it despawns.

Homes and travel systems make it easier to return to important locations and move between RoosterMC’s different worlds.

These features are meant to reduce frustration—not remove the adventure.

Major Performance & Server Improvements

Some of the biggest changes aren’t things you’ll see on a feature list.

We’ve been going through RoosterMC’s custom plugins one by one, modernizing them for current versions of Paper, reducing unnecessary processing, optimizing particles and entities, and cleaning up systems that had accumulated over the years.

The result is a server foundation that’s being actively improved for better performance, stability, and future development.

And that work is continuing.

Java + Bedrock

RoosterMC supports both Java and Bedrock players, allowing more people to play together regardless of their preferred Minecraft platform.

Bedrock players can use the same server address. No manual port entry is required.
