We’ve rolled out a major update to RACP, RoosterMC’s custom protection and anti-cheat system.
The focus of this update is simple: better cheat detection without making legitimate players pay for it.
RACP can now recognize a much wider range of suspicious gameplay behavior across movement, combat, building, mining, and player interactions. Detection has also been redesigned to look for patterns and accumulated evidence rather than immediately judging a player because one movement or action looked unusual.
Java + Bedrock Friendly
This was especially important to us.
Java and Bedrock do not always behave the same way.
RACP now recognizes Bedrock players and adjusts how certain behavior is evaluated. It also accounts for things like latency, server performance, knockback, teleports, world changes, Elytra, Riptide, potion effects, unusual terrain, and other legitimate gameplay situations.
The goal isn’t to make the anti-cheat more aggressive.
It’s to make it smarter.
That means stronger detection against players actually trying to gain an unfair advantage while reducing the chance that normal gameplay gets mistaken for cheating.

RoosterMC is a Java + Bedrock crossplay server, and we want both communities to have a fair and enjoyable experience.
RACP will continue to be tuned as the server grows and as new exploits and cheat methods appear.
