Treat your first visit as an expedition, not a casual sightseeing trip.
Before You Enter
Bring:
- reliable armor
- a good weapon
- food
- spare supplies
- awareness of
/grave
Wearing at least one piece of gold armor can reduce some environmental heat/exhaustion pressure in the current Hell configuration.
Watch the Sidebar
The LIVING HELL sidebar reports the area's corruption state, current event, nearby Champions, Soul Essence, and other immediate survival information.
Learn These Rules Immediately
- Champions are substantially more dangerous than normal mobs.
- High corruption means the land itself is becoming more hostile.
- Soul Essence is valuable; do not waste it blindly.
- If INFERNAL RAIN warns you to take cover, get under solid overhead shelter immediately.
- Do not try to sleep in a bed.
