RoosterMC has been updated to the latest version of GeyserMC, keeping our Java ↔ Bedrock cross-platform support current with the latest Minecraft updates.
What Does This Mean?
GeyserMC is what allows Minecraft: Bedrock Edition players to connect to RoosterMC alongside Java Edition players.
The current Geyser release supports:
🎮 Minecraft Bedrock 26.0–26.40
☕ Minecraft Java 26.2
That means players on supported Bedrock devices can continue jumping into RoosterMC without needing the Java Edition client.
Why We Keep Geyser Updated
Minecraft updates frequently, especially on Bedrock where clients are often updated automatically. Keeping Geyser current helps maintain compatibility between Bedrock and Java players while also bringing in the latest fixes and improvements.
GeyserMC has also previously released important security fixes, so keeping our cross-platform infrastructure current is something we take seriously.
RoosterMC Continues to Grow
This update is part of the ongoing work happening behind the scenes as we continue expanding RoosterMC.
Our custom systems are becoming much more ambitious, including world clusters and world discovery, allowing worlds to be organized into environments such as Peaceful, Normal, and Nightmare.
And there is plenty more being built.
