RoosterGrave v1.9.4 — Your Loot Has a Guardian

August 20, 2026

Death happens on RoosterMC.

Maybe a creeper had impeccable timing. Maybe you discovered gravity. Maybe you thought you could handle Hell.

You couldn’t.

Fortunately, dying doesn’t mean watching your inventory scatter across the ground and disappear while you desperately try to find your way back.

RoosterGrave v1.9.4 is now live on RoosterMC, giving every adventurer a safer, cleaner way to recover from an unfortunate demise.

🪦 Die. Leave a Grave. Get Revenge.

When you die in an eligible world, RoosterGrave secures your belongings and leaves behind something appropriately RoosterMC:

A magical Rooster guarding your grave.

Your guardian protects your remains until you return, and you’ll receive a reminder that your items are waiting for you.

No more crawling through tall grass looking for dropped gear.

No more racing a five-minute item despawn timer.

No more wondering whether somebody else picked up your equipment.

Just find your Rooster and reclaim what belongs to you.

🐓 The Rooster Guards Your Stuff

Your grave isn’t simply an unattended pile of items.

The magical Rooster acts as the protector of your grave, keeping the system unmistakably RoosterMC while your belongings wait for your return.

And yes.

The Rooster is magically protected.

Nice try.

🎒 Recover Your Items

Return to your grave and recover the equipment and items you were carrying when you died.

Once successfully recovered:

Items recovered!

Then you’re free to continue whatever questionable decision got you killed in the first place.

✨ Recover 90% of Your XP

Death should hurt.

It just doesn’t need to erase everything.

RoosterGrave currently returns 90% of your lost experience, meaning death still has consequences without completely destroying your progress.

🗺️ Manage Your Graves with /grave

Can’t remember where you died?

Use:

/grave

to access your grave-management interface.

From there, graves can be viewed and managed instead of requiring players to remember coordinates or search an entire world for their death location.

Available grave-management actions include Teleport to Grave and Delete Grave, with deletion protected by a confirmation step so an accidental click doesn’t erase something important.

⏳ Graves Don’t Last Forever

The current RoosterMC configuration keeps graves available for 20 minutes.

That’s substantially more forgiving than vanilla dropped-item behavior, but you still need to retrieve your belongings.

Your Rooster may be loyal.

He’s not standing there forever.

🌎 World-Aware Protection

RoosterGrave supports configurable world exclusions, including wildcard world names.

That lets RoosterMC determine exactly where the grave system should and shouldn’t operate—for example, preventing graves from interfering with worlds or game modes where death is supposed to behave differently.

🧹 Built for a Living Server

Version 1.9.4 also includes behind-the-scenes cleanup and administration systems for keeping grave entities healthy over time.

The current build includes orphan cleanup, legacy hologram cleanup/purge handling, grave inspection tools, protected grave management, and administrative controls.

These aren’t flashy player features, but they’re important for a server like RoosterMC that stays online and evolves continuously.

The goal is simple:

Protect your stuff without filling the server with forgotten entities.

⌨️ Commands

/grave — View and manage your graves.

Administrators also have additional grave inspection, purge, player-management, and configuration tools available when needed.

Another RoosterMC System Built for Players

RoosterGrave isn’t intended to remove the danger from survival.

It’s there to remove one of Minecraft’s most frustrating moments:

“WHERE DID ALL MY STUFF GO?!”

You can still die.

You can still lose XP.

You still have to make it back.

But now, when everything goes horribly wrong, there’s a little feathered sentinel standing watch.

Your loot is waiting.

Your Rooster is guarding it.

Go get your stuff.
