Your First Trip to Nightmare
Nightmare can feel overwhelming because several progression systems unlock at once.
Recommended Beginner Flow
1. Enter Nightmare through the Hub.
2. Watch the ROOSTER RPG sidebar.
3. Fight early Elites carefully and begin earning Shards.
4. Use /ag to visit the Adventurers Guild.
5. Meet the RPG Merchant, Master Blacksmith, Mastery Trainer, and Quest Master.
6. Start a Slayer quest.
7. Begin building Bestiary research against the enemy schools you fight most often.
8. Upgrade gear and permanent Mastery.
9. Learn elemental weaknesses and resistances.
10. Work toward higher-tier equipment and eventual endgame ascension.
Nightmare uses a dedicated RPG inventory profile. Read the Nightmare Inventory guide before assuming an item has been lost during world travel.
