A simple first-session route for players who want to get established without guessing what to do.
Your First 30 Minutes
Not sure where to begin? This is a safe first-session route.
1. Look Around the Hub
Read the information boards and locate the world-selector NPCs. These are the normal way to choose a RoosterMC world.
2. Choose Normal
Normal is the recommended starting world for classic survival. Nightmare and Hell intentionally expect more preparation.
3. Find Your Own Space
If the nearby area is already developed, try:
/reloc
Rooster Relocate searches for a random safer surface location farther out in eligible worlds. Always look around before building; relocation is not a land-claim guarantee.
4. Save Your Base
Once you like a location:
/sethome base
You can later return with:
/home base
5. Learn the Small Quality-of-Life Features
/coordstoggles the BetterCoords action-bar display./homeslists your saved homes./gravemanages active graves after a death./hubreturns to the Hub.
6. Try the Other Worlds Later
Once you understand the basics, visit Peaceful, Nightmare, Hell, or Creative based on the experience you want.
These worlds are intentionally difficult. Read their Wiki guides before carrying valuable gear into them.
